Good morning! It is time for another Midweek Magnolias challenge, and our theme is 'Anything Goes'. Yes, I've created another Christmas card.
I've painted the adorable Cozy Christmas Bear with Distress Inks, along with the Winter Forest. I have cut out both and added Stardust Stickles from The Ribbon Girl to the edges of the branches and the hat and scarf.
I have also added a Doohickey die cut fence, from last year's Autumn Doohickey kit, behind the trees.
The sentiment is from Vintage Box 1 by Magnolia, stamped with grey ink for a softer look.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Midweek Magnolias. Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations and details of this week's prize. Thanks for looking! x
Good morning! I have managed another Christmas card! Still lots to go, of course. Every year I think I'm doing well and then have to make about twenty in the last two weeks before Christmas! I'm really trying not to do that this year.
Good morning! It is time for me to share this months creation for the All About Magnolia challenge. This month our challenge is 'All About Autumn'. The main things for me when I think about autumn are obviously the colours, Bonfire Night and Halloween. As I'm not a huge fan of making cards in yellows, oranges and browns I decided to opt for a Halloween theme and make my first lollipop card - Trick or Treat? Above is the 'Trick' side of my lollipop card. I created the Halloween purple cardstock myself using spider and bat stamps from Whiff of Joy.
I have used the super cute Mini Magnolia Mummy Edwin and painted him with Distress Inks. I've used the bat stamp again here.
The fabulous sentiment and frame is from a Tickled Pink stamps set I have and the pumpkin was cut with Doohickey dies.
I've used another Doohickey die to cut the tag for the 'Happy Halloween' sentiment, which is another Whiff of Joy stamp.
I've used the Peony Doohickey to create the black flowers and the rest of the flowers and berries are from The Ribbon Girl with the exception of the dark purple roses.
Here's the 'Treat' side of the lollipop. I have used the Mini Magnolia Popcorn stamp on this side as that is a favourite Autumn treat in our house while we snuggle up watching films.
I have painted the image with Distress Inks.
I have used a different frame around the 'treat?' sentiment, it is also from Tickled Pink Stamps.
The flowers and berries are the same as for the 'Trick' side. I have also added a toadstool and black cat to each side, cut with Doohicky dies.
Have you noticed the cobwebs in the photos? They are just whispy threads of glue from my glue gun!
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at All About Magnolia. Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations. Thanks for looking! x
Good morning! It is time for another Magnolia-licious Challenge and our theme this time is 'Anything Goes'. I decided to cross another Christmas card off my list using one of the new Stamping Bella stamps from Magnolia-licious.
I've painted Skylar Loves to Skate with Distress Inks and added stickles to her skates and the ice.
I've added flowers from my stash along with some gorgeous beaded berries from The Ribbon Girl. The snowflake border was cut with a Memory Box die.
I've also added some trees cut with a Doohickey die.
The gorgeous lace, rose trim, flowers and snowflake charm are also from The Ribbon Girl.

Good morning! I am back with another creation using the gorgeous new stamp collection from Stempelglede - Steampunk Journey. The three 'playing cards' were created using four different stamps from the collection.
The first one has the Steampunk Butterfly/Moth design in the corner.
The second has the Steampunk Clock and Gears design on it.
The third one, which you can only just see from behind the feather, has the Gears and Raven design on it.
I have also used the Gears and Tyre Treads design for the border on each playing card.
I have used the Steampunk Time Flies design on the base of the easel card. I cut out the middle section of the clock - it fits perfectly into one of my Spellbinder circles - and mounted it onto several layers of card to create the 'stop post' for the easel.
I have also used the Steampunk Clock and Gears design all over the layer of cardstock underneath to create a background. I have added some gorgeous feathers, metal gears and clocks which were a gift from my sweet friend Gunhild. Thank you Gunhild!
When the easel card is folded flat it looks like this.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking. Pop over to the Stempelglede blog to see more creations using the new stamp collection and to find out how you can get your hands on the set.
Good morning! It is time for another challenge at Midweek Magnolias and our theme is 'Autumnal Colours'.
I have chosen to use one of my favourite Tildas and as usual I've painted her with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.
As the hydrangeas in my garden are changing to some beautiful muted colours right now I decided to decorate my card with hydrangeas cut with a Martha Stewart punch. I've also added a topiary tree using a Doohickey die.
Good morning! I am so excited to share today's card with you! There is an incredible new stamp collection available at Stempelglede - Steampunk Journey. As usual, the designs are breathtaking! As soon as I saw the gorgeous balloon stamp I thought, "Wizard of Oz", and set about creating this card. It is a stair step fold for the base.
The main focus is, of course, the balloon. I've painted it with Distress Inks. I have cut lots of clouds using Magnolia Doohickey dies and added some emerald gems to add a bit of magic.
I have also painted the Steampunk Gentleman with Distress Inks and added Glossy Accents to his goggles. He is representing Oz in my little scene. The film strip die cut is another Doohickey die.
The Emerald City was created with a castle turret Doohickey die from Magnolia. I have added Stardust Stickles for that all important sparkle.
I created the sentiment myself on the computer. I've aged the edges of the sentiment mat with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
Another view looking down the fold of the card to see all of the clouds in there.
The final stamp I have used from the collection is the Steampunk Time Flies Design, which I've also painted with Distress Inks.
Here you can see the fold I have used for the base of the card.
